The ECF is looking for a part-time consultant for the period 1st of October 2009 till 30st of April 2010, to carry out the following role : 1. Research and report on potential EU funding sources for EuroVelo, the European cycle route network a. Identify EU funds that can be used to finance the ECF work on the project b. Identify EU funds that can be used by national and regional authorities etc. for investments in EuroVelo routes 2. Elaboration of a more detailed business plan, based on the brochure "EuroVelo - The European cycle route network" (published in May 2009 by ECF) 3. Preparation of concrete application for funding; representing ECF in application processes 4. Preparing and Co-moderating on behalf of ECF three workshops, organized by the EC (DG ENT; unit Tourism) 5. Development of additional strategic contacts and partnerships, and other general work to support ECF in further establishment of the EuroVelo Project. The consultant should be experienced in working on European fund assembly. Experience with EuroVelo projects is of great value. The consultant should be Brussels based or able to travel frequently to Brussels.
